JUAN “BABS” M. REYES, JR. is the Chairman of Optimus Innovations Inc. He has a successful track record of developing new businesses. He worked abroad in one of the largest chain of retail stores, where he underwent intensive training in store management and sales. He opted to go back to the Philippines to contribute his expertise in business development and marketing in local ventures. He earned his Economics degree from the Lyceum of the Philippines and Diplomate in Agribusiness from the University of the Philippines. He studied MBA at the De La Salle University. He has earned over 25 years experience in enterprise development, project management and marketing. He is also President of Eco-life Foundation, a non-government organization dedicated to developing an ecology friendly environment through sustainable eforestation and renewal energy and other projects.
REGINA GALANG REYES is the President of Optimus Innovations, Inc. and has over 20 years experience in all areas of human resources management. She is currently a columnist of Management Systems, an internationally circulated monthly magazine for managers. She teaches Management, Human Resources Management and Organization Development subjects part-time in Assumption College. She is the founder of MyTrabaho.Com, a career site for jobseekers and working people. She is also the creator and Founding Editor of the People at Work subsection/ Business Section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer for around six years. She was Columnist of Metro Working Mom, a monthly magazine of ABS-CBN Publishing Inc., from March 2002 to June 2005. She was one of the program hosts of “People at Work sa DZRH” which later became “My Trabaho at dzRH” which aired for around four years in dzRH, the leading AM radio stations in the Philippines. She was the Corporate Human Resources Services Head of the Philippine Daily Inquirer where she served for seven years and introduced innovative HR programs. Prior to Inquirer, she was AVP for Personnel and Administration with GMA Network Inc. (the largest broadcasting network in the Philippines). Ms. Reyes earned her Masters in Business Administration degree from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Ateneo de Manila University in 1989 where she was in the Dean’s List. She is also a graduate of the University of the Philippine School of Labor and Industrial Relations, Workers’ Institute of Labor Laws in 1989.

TERESA REYES TUNAY is multi-awarded writer and editor, Editor-in-Chief, Blue Collar Magazine and formerly editor-in-chief of Woman Today. She has written and edited for various newspapers and magazines for the past 34 years, among them, Woman Today, Family Today, Manila Times, Times Journal, Manila Bulletin, The Tribune, Fina Magazine, PAL’s inflight Mabuhay magazine, Philippine News Agency. She is a columnist of Philippine Daily Inquirer’s People at Work section, writing the twin columns of Reflections for the Working Soul with Bishop Precioso Cantillas. She was formerly the Head of the Media Office of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines.
BIENVENIDO E. LAGUESMA is a senior partner at the Laguesma Magsalin Consulta & Gastardo Law Office which handles corporate and labor cases. He was the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment from June 1998 to January 2001. He graduated from the Lyceum of the Philippines with an AB degree major in Political Science in 1971 and earned his Bachelor of Laws from the Ateneo de Manila College of Law in 1975. He worked with the Department of Labor and Employment in various capacities from 1976 to 2001. He had a brief stint with the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines as Presidential Assistant from November 1996 to January 1998. Mr. Laguesma has extensive background in public administration, labor laws and social legislation, non-government and government networking. He has attended several seminars and conferences here and abroad and has represented the government in various national, regional and international fora. He co-hosted “People at Work sa DZRH and “My Trabaho at DZRH” for around four years.
DEXTER C. MENDOZA has around 30 years experience in the field of Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations practice. He has hands-on experience in all Human Resource functions including Employee Selection and Placement, Compensation, Benefits Planning and Administration, Organization Development, Manpower Training and Development, Labor Relations, Policy/Procedures Formulation, Change Management and Culture Building. He was formerly connected with GMA Network, Inc. as Vice-President, Human Resource up to 2006 and as a Consultant up to 2007. Prior to GMA-7, he was Vice President for Human Resources of ABS-CBN; Asst. Vice-President Corporate Affairs of Marsman-Zuellig, Human Resources Manager of Colgate-Palmolive and Human Resources Manager for Philippines and East Asia of Gillette (Philippines), Inc. He graduated from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. He has attended and completed training programs both here and abroad. He was a Personnel Manager of the Year Awardee and a former Director of PMAP and a Fellow in People Management Association of the Philippines. (PMAP).
JOY FALLARME NERI holds the following degrees from De La Salle University, Manila: Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She was also the Training and Development Manager of Systematics Technology Services Inc., a subsidiary of Metrobank, one of the biggest banks in the Philippines. She was affiliated with two consulting firms, and worked as a Training Consultant for Meralco for five years, for Nestle Philippines, Inc. for four years, and for Zuellig Pharma Corporation, Phils. – Distribution Division for four years. Her working experience includes the following: Counselor and Trainer, De La Salle University (DLSU) – College of Saint Benilde; Change Management Consultant Staffer, Sycip, Gorres, Velayo (SGV) Consulting and Andersen Consulting; and Guidance Counselor, High School Department, Assumption College. She is presently based in Perth, Australia and but is available to conduct training programs in the Philippines.
EDWIN C. EBREO has over 14 years experience in human resource management and training. He is the president of exeQserve, a manpower recruitment firm. His last position was as HR Director of Athena E-Services, a business process outsourcing company in the Philippines. He has occupied senior HR and training positions in PET Plans Group, SPI Technologies, Inc. and Philippine Seven Corp. (7-11 Food Stores). He has conducted numerous training programs on teambuilding, leadership, basic supervision, performance management, visioning, problem solving and decision-making, trainer’s training, and labor management cooperation, among others, for his companies and other companies. He is a graduate of A.B. Mass Communications and UP SOLAIR’s Workers Institute.
